Jeremy Waller - Software Engineer

Our team continues to grow and expand our mission to deliver enterprise-scale software solutions to large and innovative businesses across the country. We are excited to welcome Jeremy Waller to the Phase 2 team to further our efforts! Jeremy is coming in as a software engineer with more than 15 years of experience in software development.

He is a killer software engineer, craftsman, traveler, and family man. Jeremy builds beautiful furniture for his home that looks anything but amateur, he loves and cares for four children under the age of six, and has a passion for traveling around the globe with his wife. He is a great addition to our team and demonstrates the level of craftsmanship we look for in a software engineer. Whether we are talking about craftsmanship in woodworking or crafting custom software, the word has more meaning than just creating something new. It is about the passion and talent poured into projects over and over again.

Jeremy has been doing development work for more than 15 years and every year looked different. His background is in real estate and finance where he cut his teeth building solutions to solve his own problems. That grew into building plug-ins for open source software and developing custom applications for local businesses. This slowly snowballed into larger projects and more complex solutions including enterprise-class HR software, unified solutions for boutique finance companies and SaaS apps for large user bases.

When asked what his favorite thing about P2 is, Jeremy says “Phase 2 is, hands-down, the best example I’ve seen on being intentional about creating a fantastic culture where the team can grow and thrive. That creates an environment where all my energy as a developer can be spent growing my skillset and building amazing software.”

Phase 2 tackles hard problems head-on. As a developer, that’s exactly where Jeremy said he wants to be. In his new role, he looks forward to running into challenges he’s never seen before. He enjoys finding new ways to approach issues and sort out the best solution for the problem.
